Hi I’m Rich, Father, Husband and Wedding Photographer located in Market Drayton, Shropshire

I bought my first DSLR camera in January 2011, not long after my daughter was born. I always loved looking back at photographs of when I was little, so naturally, it seemed like the right thing to do. It didn’t take long for the ‘bug’ to catch. Before I knew it, I was knee-deep in books, following the work of other great Photographers and learning the science and magic behind it all. I was fascinated by documenting life’s little things. My walls became a shrine of my daughter's life. Eventually, I became fascinated by people. Where they had been, where they were going. The untold stories.

As I began to grow as a photographer, I started to understand why.

Weddings are a one-shot deal. There are no retakes and If the final images don’t reflect exactly how the couple envisioned them, it’s soul-destroying. Nothing is more painful than looking back on your wedding photographs and not being able to connect with them, to realise that this isn’t how you remembered your day at all. There’s a reason you’re not booking the first wedding photographer you came across. You want to make sure that the result is something that in 30 years will make you feel the same as it does on your wedding day. I believe to really tell someone’s story, you have to begin to know them.

What you want, is to just be comfortable.

I believe that my photographs give you permission to show generations how you felt. Words often fail me. Photographs don’t.

So be you. Be authentic. Be real. Snort when you laugh. Kiss like it’s your first kiss. Get giddy when you hold hands. Feel the world around you.
