Sandhole Oak Barn is a beautifully renovated oak barn located in the heart of Cheshire. It combines a rustic charm with modern amenities and features.


One of the standout features to Sandhole Oak Barn is it’s location. With easy access and a short drive from Manchester and Liverpool and surround by full 360 degree picturesque countryside views it provides the perfect backdrop for your photographs. I’d be foolish to leave out it’s stunning well maintained private lake and despite it being on a working farm, if I hadn’t mentioned that, you’d be hard pushed to know.

Inside the barn itself, you’re instantly hit with an airy and spacious feeling created by it’s high oak beam ceilings and large windows allowing plenty of natural light through. The barn is decorated with modern and rustic elements which provide a warm inviting atmosphere for you and your guests.

In addition to the Barn is the courtyard itself, which on a dry or sunny day is the perfect place for you and your guests to hang out, catch up, and really make the most of your wedding day.

But it doesn’t stop there, staying the night and you’ve got a superb choice of well maintained rooms that are available followed by the most incredible breakfast room that allows you to just sit enjoying your morning coffee whilst you watch nature in all it’s glory pass your eyes.

Sandhole Oak Barn is fully licensed for civil ceremonies so you have the  added benefit of being able to hold your whole wedding day. You’re in great hands as the team at Sandhole Oak Barn are experienced in planning and coordinating weddings and are always on hand every step of the way and will work alongside you to ensure your wedding is the kind that you’ve been dreaming of for years.

I had the great pleasure of speaking with Bill whilst I was there and from the initial greeting I knew that any couple that’s fortunate enough to book their Wedding at Sandhole Oak Barn would be in great hands. Civil ceremonies can take place in the barn or by the lake under the clock tower (March to October), and the barn can seat up to 150 guests for your wedding reception.
